Help Wanted!

Dateline: 11/14/97

No continually changing web site about music would be complete without reviews of current albums, and interviews with those who make the music. It also helps when people interact, write in and say what they want to see.

This is where I need your help. I am very interested in reviewing World Music releases from both independent artists and major labels. There is no restriction on style, or what part of the world you are from. Artists are invited to contact me individually, as well as representatives from labels.

In addition to CDs, books and magazines with a World Music theme will also be considered. If you have something for me to review, contact me personally, tell me about it, and if I think it will work I'll give you my snail-mail address.

In the same way, I am also looking for artists to interview. This could coincide with the release of new product, or even if a particular performer has something new and profound they wish to say. I am very, very open, so try me.

Interviews can be done over the phone, or by email (which is especially preferred if the interviewee resides outside North America). Producers, promotors, anyone involved with World Music on any level, and who are on the cutting edge, can also be interviewed. The music business has many facets, and I want to cover all of them.

If you would like to get a better grasp of what kinds of music I am most familiar with, check out my personal home page. But I am not just interested in what interests me. This is a web site for everyone who is into World Music, and while I know I can't please everyone all the time, the more reader input I get will help me to decide what direction to take.

So please keep in touch, and I look forward to hearing from you.
