Candyweb for the Holidays!!!

Here are some of the best «finds» of my autumn trips on Québec's musical web...

1- NOTRE-DAME-DE-PARIS
Colorful site with an abundance of documentation on the great popular opera written by Luc Plamondon and composed by Richard Cocciante (French «chansonnier» of Italian descent)... IN FRENCH.

2- LE CARREFOUR DES CHANTEUSES
One of the only sites that attractively presents and comments on the records and careers of several feminine pop artists, most of them French and Québécoises singers and songwriters. IN FRENCH.

3- KEVIN PARENT
Hot site on the new singing-songwriting sensation from Gaspésie, Québec!!! IN FRENCH.

4- LEONARD COHEN
Beautiful site from Sony Music on Montreal's greatest english-speaking poet-songwriter. IN ENGLISH.

And don't forget LA TOILE DU QUÉBEC (IN FRENCH BUT WITH EASY-TO-USE CATEGORIES) to accompany you in your search for a good quantity and quality of Québec's music and culture websites!

Happy Holidays,
Danielle Tremblay
Québécois music correspondent
